15 Minute Carnitas Recipe

By using our pulled pork prep pack you can make carnitas style tacos at home in a fraction of the time that it takes to make from scratch. Serve with home made guacamole and pico de gallo for a delicious authentic flavour.

Ingredients List

100g SwoleFoods Prep Pack Pulled Pork, warmed through

3 Corn tortillas

For Guacamole

1 Avocado

1 Tbsp lime juice

1 Handful fresh coriander

Salt to taste

For Pico De Gallo

100g Fresh tomato (use cherry tomato for extra sweetness)

15g Red onion

1 Tbsp lime juice

15g Jalapeno peppers (optional)

1 Handful fresh coriander

Salt and black pepper to taste

 

Cooking Instructions

1. To make the guacamole, combine avocado, lime juice, coriander and salt in a bowl and mash with a fork until smooth.

2. Make the pico de gallo by finely dicing tomato, onion, coriander, jalapeno and mixing through lime juice, salt and pepper.

3. Heat your corn tortillas in a pan on high heat for around 20 seconds each side or until heated through.

4. Assemble your tacos first with the guacamole, adding warmed pulled pork and sprinkling pico de gallo over the top.
